And lastly, I completely agree with you and Erik on AI. I saw first hand how my 7th grade Thai students relied on AI to turn in their final projects. They all had the same answers for a creative project since they didn’t have confidence in their own abilities or using English. It saddened me to see. I worry they rely on AI too much but that’s what everyone does. Even my star students with confidence in English are seen as “not smart” for choosing *not* to use Chat GPT to save time on their assignment, so then they do.
